It’s the small things…

Little things can help you care for yourself like essential oils. I love them. I prefer them over perfume. Not only do they smell great, but their aroma has been proven to help reduce stress, and promote a sense of peace.

So before I start each day I moisturize my skin and hair with one of my favorite oils mixed with some rose water. And since the hair holds fragrance the longest, I am inhaling it throughout the day which helps keep me calm and focused.

Here are some of my favs:

* Lavender oil: used to help relieve stress and anxiety and promote good sleep.

* Peppermint oil: boosts energy

* Frankincense oil: promotes a sense of peace and connectedness.

* Bergamot: anxiety-reducing

* Lemon oil: reduces anxiety and depression.
