Pay It Forward

I spent the weekend on vacation relaxing with dear friends. We went to a shop where I was eyeing this kimono I am wearing. I talked myself out of buying it for whatever reason.

When we got back to the cottage they pulled the kimono out of one the bags and surprised me with it. The buying it for me wasn’t what humbled me. The wanting to get it for me just because they knew it would make me happy, did. Friendship is a gift given freely. All we can do is live in gratefulness and pay love and kindness forward.
